We have unofficially started a new Friday segment called #MargaretsMeals. Currently staff are cataloguing some of the cookbooks in the MCSL collection and have come across some really "interesting" recipes.  This week's installment is Marga
On August 5 there was a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly built school in Skowhegan with the Senator's namesake.  WABI covered the event.

We are saddened to learn of the recent passing of Neola Davis. Davis received the Skowhegan Community Action Group Achievement Award at our Library in 1986. She also attended various events throughout the years. Pictured here with the Senator in 1991
We recently received word of a painting done by Linda Batey for the Paint Skowhegan event sponsored by River Roads Artisans Gallery on Water Street. Various works will be exhibited throughout the month of August and placed within a silent auction. Vi
