#OTD in 1965, Senator Smith met with the Maine Independent Meat Packers Association, but no indication she received one of the stylish hats.
It's #TBT! In 1941 Representative Smith was not afraid to roll up her sleeves and saw some wood at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. This was a special demonstration held for members of Congress and military.
There's still time to register for the Maine Town Meeting.

Featured speakers will be Maine Poet Laureate Julia Bouwsma and Award Winning Poet and Author Kristen Case.

Registration closes on October 20th.
