🍂 October Walk-In Wednesdays at Senator Smith’s Historic Home! 🍂 As summer wraps up, we want to give everyone one last chance to experience the history! For the entire month of October, no appointments are needed on Wednesdays. 📍 When: Oct 2
#OTD in 1963, John F. Kennedy, the 35th President, received an honorary degree from the University of Maine. He was on stage with Governor John Reed, Senators Edmund Muskie and Smith, and Representatives Stanley Tupper and Clifford McIntire.
#OTD in 1988, MCSL hosted an Appreciation Day. The Senator was thrilled to receive a unique weathervane created by Barry Norling and a thoughtful gift from Mert & Harriet Henry, Georgia McKearly, and Maurine Meckes!
